Mobile Digitizing (MobiDig) aims to establish an open and innovative training for librarians, archivists, managers of small organizations and Vocational education and training (VET) teachers in the field of library science, on how to build low-cost digitizing facilities for their purposes and how to maintain the data.

One of the main goals of the project is to systematize, integrate and widespread the modern practices, not only among small libraries, but also among VET institutions as a means of renovation of the work methods and resources for educators and learners. Thus the project provides online VET resources for mobile/low-cost digitizing.

The project facilitates access to additional training and qualifications through continuous VET (C-VET). In the Learning Management System (LMS), along with the freely and easily accessible Manual there are digital training movies and self-training resources. The content is designed to empower the target group(librarians/archivists/managers of libraries/VET teachers and trainers) in receiving additional vocational skills in a life-long learning perspective.

The project “My Gender Rights” develops a toolkit of 5 open educational and training tools which address both these parameters: gender equality and the inclusion of unaccompanied migrant minors. The approach we suggest is particularly relevant for young migrants, in so far as they have grown up in countries of origin with a different view of, and legislation regarding, gender equality compared to the European one. This is therefore a very innovative project.

The project is carried out in 6 countries, each very concerned by the migrant crisis: Bulgaria, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, and The United Kingdom. This transnational approach will enrich the efficiency of the project by sharing the experiences and the good practices of each country, contrasting the very different national contexts in terms of maturity in addressing gender equality and the welcoming of unaccompanied migrant minors, and finally the complementary experiences and skills of the partners.

The educational and training project “My Gender Rights” aims to sensitise and educate unaccompanied migrant minors as well as professionals and young volunteers caring for them.
