SATELITE

3-d computer animation

The film demonstrates 3-d simulation of rocket launching and docking of satelites. The 3-d models of objects are amazing, the good imitation of textures, shadows and motion.

  INNER SPACE

The installation represents video-walk in certain terrain which concentrates the spectator’s attention over the story. Certain mood and thoughts were created by the help of many interesting scenes, specific and surprizing camera angle. There are visualized alienations and claustrophoby feelings in one isolated and self-destructing society.

SEASONS

The film represents walk across the four seasons. It is created by mixing real video and computer animation. The conception is simple but original. The realisation shows good skills in working with computer programs for videoanimation.

THE CONQUEST OF THE IRRATIONAL

Comparations of the computer arts and the traditional arts by the help of interactive multimedia. In number of cases the computer pictures simulate perfectly hand-made art-works, and hand-drawed pictures look like computer ones. Interest point in the product is the computer’s abillity to revive, animate the pictures as well as demonstrations of pictures’ hidden details.

WORLD RESEARCHER

CD-based project

The primary aim of the project is representing of the development of the human perception of the Earth in different times by the help of sound, text and image. As source of materials there are used many books and atlases published in the past century. Copies of the product are donated to the National High School of Ancient Languages and Cultures in Sofia.

METABOLIZER

Internet installation

The project represents interactive Internet installation where users can interact with a 3-d human creatures. By changing the initial data (like the amount of proteins, hormones, vitamines, drugs, etc.) you can influence the physical condition and body form of this virtual man. The project has been presented in an exhibition in XXL gallery and has participated in the Ars Electronica ’97 festival.

ARCHITECTURE AND PEOPLE DREAMS

The project shows the development of ideas in Bulgarian architecture and the link between the historical and cultural environment. A number of styles, objects, plans and details of the Bulgarian architecture are demonstrated by the help of multimedia lectures and data bases as well as photos, movies, sound and interactive elements?

  HISTORY AND POWER

CD project

The project is an interactive CD-based product for Macintosh computers showing by the help of the multimedia the different kinds of power and their specifications. The problem of the power in different epoches is discussed by the use of multimedia lectures. It has an educational focus.

The film represents a photo-walk in a huge apartement with surprising final. A new audio-visual enviroment is achieved by perfect synchronization of stylized b/w photos, music and sound. The film is similar to the video clips and it is specific for the author’s style. The project participates in MTV competition.

  DEVISABLE VICISSITUDES

Within the creation of the compositions the author demonstrates genious play with the tembre and the creation of original samples. The whole work represents organically linked music themes. The control over the oscilators and tembre modelling creates strange acoustic space.
