Sound Sign/Sound Design

* sound sign: the meaning of sounds will be compared with semiotic theories.

* sound design in advertising: various TV-spots will be shown, the structure of spots (AIDA-model) will be demonstrated. The shaping of these spots (tell a story, slice of life, testimonial, etc.) will be analysed. The role of sound in these spots will be discussed (voices, specific music selections, jingles).
