| COMPUTER SPACE '2000 | ||
| XII-th edition of Computer Space will take time in October
12- 14 this year, in the National Palace of
Culture in Sofia, halls 10 and 3.1. The international
computer art forum includes exhibitions, seminars,
conferences, concerts and shows in the sphere of almost
all computer arts: computer graphics, animation, computer
and electronic music, interactive arts, WWW arts.
Computer Space is the biggest and most popular computer
art event in Bulgaria. Artists and companies from all
over the world show their best achievements, share their
ideas and discuss on the future of computer and
electronic arts. This year the focus point will be situated in - "Virtual Identity" symposium,"Mobile communications in Internet" semianr.“Publicity in Internet” seminar, EuroPrix presentation You could download the preliminary program here (in RTF format) |

Each application includes: |
||
1. Abstract/Description of the project (up to 1/2 page) 2. Brief CV of the author(s) (up to 1/2 page) 3. Photo of the author(s) on his/her workplace or picture from the artwork 4. Demo of the artwork (on video, audio tape, CD, www address or printed visual material) Applications should be sent by post or e-mail. In a case of post application, please, send a 3,5" floppy disk with the CV and the abstract in Microsoft Word for Windows 95/98 format and, eventually, photo or picture. Don't forget to write your address, phone/fax number, E-mail, web site. Accepted authors will be published in the Computer Space international catalogue (in English and Bulgarian) and program. Up to 5 art works of each of category will be awarded. Aslo, organizers could help authors in organizing their presentations and could cover the accomodation during the forum days. The participation of individuals is free of charge. Deadline for receiving the applications: 06.10.2000. Authors are welcome to send their proposals and to contact organizers well ahead of the deadline. If you have some ideas for events, workshops, or participation in the symposium, please contact organizers before 30.09.2000. |

| This year there will be FOUR contest categories: | ||
1. Computer graphics pictures 2. WWW design (the contest is organized in cooperation with Internet society - Bulgaria) - www.isoc.bg, and ABC Design & Communication. There is a registration online for that cathegory - www.bgwebawards.org 3. Computer animation 4. Computer music Up to 5 art works of each of category will be awarded. The author could participate with up to 3 works. |
