Training Course

Date and venue: 20th – 26th September 2010, Freetown, Sierra Leone

The main aim of the training course in the frame of the project “Youth e-collaboration in HIV/AIDS prevention” is to train 20 youth workers, youth leaders and youth trainers to implement in their work the 2 training e-games, online training course and the manual developed within the project and on the topic of HIV/AIDS prevention. These results will be presented to them and they will be trained to use them by means of presentations, lectures, interactive workshops, work in small groups, discussions, interactive games etc.

Main topics of the training course:

HIV/AIDS current situation in Europe and Africa
Development of training e-games
Different forms of e-learning
Training e-games in youth work and especially regarding the topic of HIV/AIDS prevention - using web-based tools and games for supporting and improving the youth work
International youth project management and co-operation

Dates and venue

The training course will take place in Freetown, Sierra Leone in the period 20th – 26th September 2010. Arrival on 20th September 2010, departure on 26th September 2010.
